“So... what kind of reporting do you do?”

It's a question almost every workplace coach has been asked.

Recently, I was meeting with an HR Manager and a coachee's manager to discuss a potential coaching engagement when this question was raised. While I have a standard response, it reminded me just how important—and sometimes challenging—it is to navigate stakeholder expectations while maintaining the confidentiality that sits at the heart of effective coaching.

For workplace coaches, confidentiality is not simply good practice—it is fundamental to building trust and is a key element of the ICF Core Competency Demonstrates Ethical Practice.

Join leadership and coaching specialists Paula Jones-Hunt, PCC and Brigitte Calvert, MCC as we continue our Coaching Café series exploring the ICF Core Competencies.

Together we'll explore:

✔ How to maintain confidentiality while working with multiple stakeholders

✔ Practical approaches to navigating stakeholder expectations and reporting requirements

✔ How to establish clear coaching agreements and expectations from the outset

✔ A practical framework for responding confidently to common questions about coaching confidentiality

Whether you coach within organisations, support leaders through coaching, or are working towards an ICF credential, this podcast will provide practical guidance for one of the most important aspects of professional coaching practice.
